​I am 21 years old this is my 4th year of college I am studying to be a ESL teacher k-12. My name is Genesis Cartagena, I was born on October 8, 2003. I was born in Mayaguez , Puerto Rico. My parents are Edwin Cartagena and Virginia Hernandez. I live in Aguadilla and went to the schools Froebel Bilingual School and Juan Suarez Pelegrina. There I participated in the cinematography club and Future Business Leaders of America.

My goals.
I enrolled to the Univerity of Puerto Rico Aguadilla, where I hope with my ESL degree can change peoples lives and to be a pro-student educator.
Teaching Philosophy
As an English teacher for all ages, my teaching philosophy is all about making language fun and helping students express themselves with confidence. I strive to create a welcoming and engaging space where everyone feels valued and excited to learn. By mixing in a variety of materials and interactive activities, I try to meet different learning styles and needs. My ultimate goal is to inspire a love for language that lasts a lifetime and shows how it connects us all!
